MIB Trieste School of Management was founded in 1988 as a non-profit consortium on the initiative of major companies and the academic world. Its stakeholders include universities, chambers of commerce, government agencies, professional associations, consultancies, and corporations from Italy and abroad.
MIB positions itself as a niche business school focused on high-level management training and with a specific emphasis on the insurance and the financial sector, where formal partnerships have been established with leading players such as Assicurazioni Generali and Allianz.
The School currently delivers a broad portfolio of post-graduate, post-experience programs, ranging from full-time, part-time and hybrid MBAs, Specialized and Corporate Masters, and executive education programs targeted to companies and organizations.
The educational offer is available with flexible formulas: in Italian or English, in person, at a distance, with a mix of the two, in the classroom or the company.
The School is also active in research, both in partnership with the parent university and via direct initiatives such as the Laboratory on Demographic Trends and the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Institute.
